Ans.. No matter whether one offers Salaat in his house or in the mosque, he is before Allah, because Allah is everywhere. But far greater reward is given for Salaats offered in the mosque.
..:Q 2:.. The muslims wash their hands, face and feet before they offer Salaat. What is the name given to this act in Islam?
Ans.. This act is called ablution (Wudu). No Salaat is valid without proper Wudu.
..:Q 3:..Which diresction a muslim must face while offering Salaat?
Ans..A muslim while offering their Salaat must face towards Holy Ka'bah in Mecca.
..:Q 4:..What is the name given to the direction we face in Salat?
Ans..The direction is called Qiblah.

Ans..A muslim is commanded to offer Salaat five times a day.

Ans.. The first is the Salaat of Fajr. It is performed in the morning before sunrise. The second is the Salaat of Dhuhr. It is said in the afternoon. The third is the Salaat of A'sr. It is said one-and-a half hour or two hour before sunset.. The fourth is the Slaat of Maghrib. It is offered immediately after the sunset.The fifth is the Salaat of I'sha, It is said in the night, one and a half or two hours after sunset.

Ans.. As time for Salaat approaches one person stands and calls these words aloud:
Ans.. When people get Ready for Salaat,one from amongst the assembly repeats the the words of the Azaan. The words:
QAD QAAMATIS-SALAAH, are also added after
HAY-YA'ALAL-FALAAH. These words signify that prayer is about to begin.

Ans.. The man who calls out the Azaan is known as the MU'AZ-ZIN and the man who calls out the Takbeer is called the MUKAB-BIR.
..:Q 10:.. What are the terms used for the Salaat offered in assembly, the man leading the prayers in assembly and the people offering prayers behind him?
Ans.. The Salaat in assembly is called the Salaat of Jamaa'ah (congregational prayer) The man who leads it is the Imaam (the head) and the persons offering the Salaat in the congregation behind the Imaam are known as the MUQATADEE-S (followers.)

Ans.. Such a person is known as MUNFARID (individual).

Ans.. The enclosure or compund is called the Mosque.

(f) The worshipper escapes from various types of sins.
(g) Allah rewards the worshipper with a comfortable and blissful life after death.
